  • We find out what’s causing unhappiness and loss of productivity, and then we help your people convert these reasons to opportunities which we support holistically to take action on and improve for themselves. Their company, their way.

  • Imagine: “Eureka!” Someone tells someone their great idea … and after a whole lot of disbelief and frustration, maybe even a proof-of-concept (POC) many months later, nothing actually changes. And that throwaway POC goes live even though it is not the best solution nor the best example of what your organisation can actually do. Zero pride.

    Now imagine instead: “Eureka!” Someone tells someone their great idea about anything … and within the right amount of time to get the idea appropriately tested by interested people, you have some real world feedback. Your team makes a few changes and the idea goes into operation. A few minutes, hours, days, weeks after that, the impact of the idea is known. People who worked on it are happy, people who are impacted by it are happy. The ”idea parent” is happy. Everyone’s looking for their next “Eureka!” whilst carrying on improving all the things, all the time, leading to real momentum of innovations generated by your organisation.

    You have people throughout your entire organisation. Everyone is aware of big and tiny, old and new, problems and “that’s just the way we are here, nothing will ever change”. We help you understand how your organization works and why nothing changes in a reasonable amount of time, and we show and support you to make sticky changes and become happier and more productive. And what it takes to protect this special space.

  • The challenge you’re facing is not logical – it is irrational and invisible. We look at the visible and help you learn about your invisible. In this space, relationships, emotional intelligence, trust, personal values, culture, assumptions, mindsets and many more complex terms run “amok”. We don’t confuse the symbols with reality. Partnering with us, and following our ways is an emergent process and a journey of experiences where every step increases your self awareness, and your organisation’s awareness of itself, and you will find the many things that are preventing happiness and productivity for individuals and the various collectives your organisation is comprised of.

  • Yes. The process we teach and help you adopt, causes a decisive shift in the organisation’s thinking, deciding and doing that result in a “becoming” phase. With enough becoming, the entire “being” of your organisation will be very different from what it was at the beginning before our journey began – more authentic with better results. Everything is connected in a self-organising ecosystem within your organisation, so achieving even one small decisive shift in one area, has impacts in other areas that were not originally imagined. The meaning of quality, risk, safety, speed and success will change, your people will be aligned, and the ability to move quickly in a direction, and change direction without loss of speed will become a healthy habit and a competitive advantage. All of this comes from a decisive shift towards “becoming”.

  • “People don’t resist change, they resist being changed”. Scope and goals must be clear, and the impacted people clearly identified and included. We collaborate and work towards consensus. Implicitly in any organisation, the right of veto is exercised through combinations of silence, “go slow”, “analysis paralysis”, “politics”, “churn”, “bystander”, “silent sabotage”, “silent quitting”, “double-screening” and more. We approach impacted people as if they are volunteers and invite them to participate in their future, to exercise both their right of “No!” explicitly, as well as their commitment to “Yes!”. In a short space of time, the exercising of freedom of choice means people increasingly welcome and seek change, that they are actually leading it.

  • Imagine: Confusion. Some sleeplessness maybe. Some drifting, boredom, lethargy and procrastination. Some invisible “force” is holding you back. You can’t see it, hear it, touch it, taste it, or even smell it. But a part of you knows something’s not right, something’s not the way it should be, by now.

    Now instead imagine: Every minute, hour, day, week and month, lived more intentionally with your needs, and your goals, and with others’ needs and goals too, resulting in a whole improved and authentic way of becoming who you are, increasingly self actualising in the world to the benefit of you and those around you too.

    You self actualise through our support in identifying and self-developing the parts of you (attitudes, skills, knowledge) needed to achieve your goals much quicker than you can alone, doing your best (or not) to follow generic guidance – which may be exactly the opposite of what you actually need. (try following the “5 or 10 [80g portions of fruit and vegetables] a day” … before eventually discovering you’re allergic to most fruit and some vegetables! I got sicker and sicker, not healthier!!) 

    We all have successes and learnings throughout our entire lives. But now, in your lived experience, something’s just not working to take you where you imagine you should be, or how you imagine you should be feeling. And nothing seems to really be changing that. We help you learn about your self in creative ways, understand your self and others you are working with much better, improve your ways of communicating, enhance your thinking about your different contexts and their conditions, your needs and the different strategies you can use to satisfy them. And how to be more creative and better organised in more areas of your life. In short, an authentic compassionate, curious, clear, creative, calm, confident, courageous, connected, real, whole person, and a remarkable leader of others.

  • The problem is you are looking in the areas you already know, usually via external feedback from others. Our approach helps you find the areas in your inner world that are sub- or un-conscious, and make them conscious so that you can control much more of you.

    Here there will be learned behaviours, false beliefs held onto dearly, mindsets, history, baggage, “the shadow” and more that requires deeper work.

    In the middle of my life, I undertook the first five years of studying “deep work” – and I continue to learn more and more “how everything works” - from old traditions from around the world, new research, advanced courses, own experiments and experience, supervision, and my coachees’ experiences too.

    It’s vast “out there” as well as “in here, now”, and it takes commitment to acquire enough to make sense of it coherently and consistently.

    Everything is connected and complex, and learning and applying “tricks” and practices without a proper holistic approach, just does not work. With proper guidance you can change quicker, safer and very affordably.

    We’ve done, and still do, all the learning, integrating and synthesising in service of our coachees. That is our calling. Our coachees do not have the space, time or resources to commit to all this learning….but they do have just enough to come receive the bespoke specific help they need most from us for 1-4 hours per month.

  • Good therapy is open ended and weekly usually. Patients (Sigmund Freud’s term) bring to the therapy all their “what happened this week since last we met” and the therapist listens, helps make sense, and upholds boundaries, amongst other things.

    Coaching is goal or future-oriented focused. Sometimes though some more support is required in an “open ended space” to define vague goals more clearly. Sometimes what was attempted by the coachee in the previous 2-4 weeks stirred up something that is worth having a quick deep enough look at, before proceeding again.

    I trained for 5 years to become a coach that coaches with great depth holistically - all of the person is included, including their key relationships, communities, workplaces, past, present and future. Because everything is connected and is impacted by the changes my coachees undertake to reach their goals.

    This is the kind of coaching I wanted for myself, and I offer this to others.

  • A friend of a friend called me recently. We had a 30 minute quick chat about his new role, where he is managing 2 people for the first time in his life.

    For the past couple of weeks he has felt his 1-1’s were going very badly. He was stressed. He wanted to do a good job.

    We had a good connected conversation and we imagined the future and the present a little differently. He looked better, he sounded better, he was clearer and more confident at the end.

    A few days later he messaged me, and, on my suggestion, also messaged his peers, two of the small adjustments we spoke about.

    In a nutshell, there are now 3 people having a much better and more valuable time together. This is benefiting their organisation greatly. Especially compared to what might have happened otherwise. And because some of his peers have adopted those two small tips, even more people are having better times, and the organisation is much much better off.

    That’s how I help and the impact of my coaching. My coachees frequently tell me “it’s invaluable, incalculable” how much they and their organisations benefit from a little time invested with me.
